Monarra Park is a Shetland Pony stud located in the beautiful Hunter Valley, NSW.
Our Shetlands have been bred and chosen for their type, conformation, temperament and the ability to excel in all aspects of the show ring. With this careful selection criteria we have bought and produced only the very best of ponies and this has enabled us to enjoy success right across the state.

Resident Stallion: Lentara Legend
We are home to 2 outstanding stallions- Lentara Legend & Riverton Lodge Tobias.
Lentara Legend was purchased when he was only 2 weeks old after a 2 year search. He possessed the quality and presence we desired in a colt and from the time he arrived here at the stud to now, he has taken the show ring by storm with several championships, hi point awards and supremes to his name. Of the times he has competed under international judges, they have had nothing but lovely compliments to say about him. His stock are now following on in his footsteps.
In 2015 we introduced Riverton Lodge Tobias as a future stud prospect. His arrival marked an exciting milestone for the stud as we aim to showcase the bay and bay and white Shetland in show rings right across Australia.

We have a small group of exceptional broodmares, all with remarkable bloodlines here at the stud. Most of our girls are highly decorated and are now starting to produce foals that show the same winning edge as they do. The basis of our bloodlines include Wells, Wetherden, Netherley, Marshwood, Harviestoun, Fenwick & Fairway. These bloodlines, combined with the exceptional individual quality of our stock, are starting to produce foals of the highest calibre.
